Your best resource will be an excellent local real estate broker that knows your area’s commercial real estate market. Generally speaking, our locations require 9,000 to 11,000 square feet in a light industrial or retail location and at least 16 foot high ceilings.

What are the financial qualifications to become a franchisee?

To purchase a new store, franchise candidates must have a Net Worth of at least $500,000 and $200,000 in liquid funds.

How much will buying a Pump It Up franchise cost me?

The initial franchise fee for a Pump It Up is $30,000. Pump It Up offers a 25% discounted initial franchise fee for the first location to any honorably discharged United States military veteran. This fee grants exclusive rights to a defined territory and access to all of Pump It Up’s proprietary knowledge, systems, and trademarks. The total investment ranges from $104,200 to $648,690.

What are Pump It Up’s royalties?

6% of gross sales

Are there any other ongoing fees besides royalties?

Franchisees must pay a monthly of 2% of gross sales into the National Brand Fund.

How long before I start to make money?

Many variables go into answering this question. Some franchisees open their Pump It Up with less debt than others. Because of this the time it takes to get to positive cash flow varies greatly. During the franchise candidate process, you will be encouraged to speak to existing franchisees to learn more about their experiences and the point when their store was cash flow positive.

How much money can I make?

Soon after you have started the franchisee qualification process, we will provide you with a copy of our Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD). All financial information from start-up costs, fees and financial performance representations will be included in this document.

Staffing

How many employees will I need before opening my Pump It Up franchise?

Most Pump It Ups open with at least 20 Party Pro’s and at least 3 Shift Supervisors. Your particular Pump It Up may be different based on party volume and weekday events.

How will I find staff?

With some exceptions, most of our staff fall within the 16-22 age range. High school and college students make up the majority of our staff. Our proprietary hiring process will help you gain valuable insight when interviewing potential employees.

Can I keep my current job and open a Pump It Up?

Yes. We have a very good mix of franchisees, some of whom keep their current job and others that work at the store full time. It is important to note however, that Pump It Up is not an absentee business, it is a manager run business.

How long does it take to open a Pump It Up franchise?

The typical time from signing the Franchise Agreement to opening your doors is approximately 9-16 months.

Do I need to have retail experience before opening a Pump It Up franchise?

If you have worked in retail environments in the past, you are ahead of the game! While providing excellent customer service can sometimes be a challenge, it is also extremely rewarding both personally and financially.
