COVID-19 Procedures

What are your cleaning procedures?
All equipment will be sanitized at the end of each day and high touch areas will be sanitized frequently. All restrooms will be frequently cleaned. We encourage all guests to use the restroom at their home before arriving at Pump It Up. Water fountains and cubbies will not be available for use. Water is available for purchase.
How do 100% private parties make it safer to celebrate?
As always, our 100% private parties provide you the opportunity to be in control of who attends your event and allows us to clean and sanitize the party room between each event. In addition, we wipe down high touch areas in the arena between every party and have implemented the use of a sanitizing fogging device at the end of every day. This method offers far better coverage, shorter drying times, and an overall better kill rate for viruses and bacteria within the facility to keep our guests and employees safe.
What other measures are you taking to follow social distancing protocols?
PLEASE SELF MONITOR YOUR HEALTH. NOT FEELING WELL, OR HAVE BEEN EXPOSED TO COVID-19; DO NOT ENTER THE PREMISE. We are strongly recommending that you keep your guest list to 15 kids. Masks are optional for fully vaccinated guests. Hand sanitizer is available throughout the building as needed. Parents are encouraged to drop off, if possible, as this will limit the number of people in the facility. An exception to this is our 6 and under parties. If you believe your child may have issues focusing and maintaining social distancing, we ask that the parent stays to help enforce the policies and procedures. Parents will no longer be permitted on inflatables unless their child requires assistance on inflatables.
Do I need to wear a mask?
SELF MANAGE YOUR HEALTH. IF YOU DON'T FEEL WELL OR HAVE BEEN EXPOSED TO COVID-19; DO NOT ENTER OUR FACILITY! Masks are optional for fully vaccinated guests. Staff will have their temperatures checked prior to the start of the workday and will be screened for any signs of COVID-19 daily. Staff is required to wash/sanitize their hands before and after every party. Staff will do their best to maintain a 3-foot distance from your party guests, unless someone is in physical danger or needs assistance.


How long are you closed for?
Are socks required?
Yes, socks are required to play on the inflatables.
Are your inflatables safe and clean?
Absolutely! Our inflatables have been custom designed to account for heavy, indoor use. Each inflatable goes through rigorous testing for all ages before it is released to any of our facilities nationwide. At our facility, each inflatable is anchored to the floor, wall, and/or ceiling to provide extra stability. Entrances and tunnels are wiped down after each party and every inflatable is cleaned and inspected on an ongoing maintenance schedule.
Is each guest, including adults, required to have a completed/signed waiver?
For insurance purposes, every guest who enters our arenas must have a completed waiver. All guests under 17 years of age must have a waiver completed and signed by a parent/guardian. For your convenience, family members aged 17 years or younger may be included on the same waiver. Additional waivers are available at Pump It Up or online.
Are there any age/height restrictions?
Yes. For safety purposes, children under 34 inches are NOT permitted in or on the equipment for any reason (even if accompanied by an adult).
Will Pump It Up provide supervision in the play areas?
Our fun and friendly staff will provide supervision in the inflatable play areas so you can relax and enjoy the party!
Are gratuities (tips) appropriate?
Our staff graciously accepts tips. If you decide to tip, we split it between the 2 attendants and one coordinator who worked your party.
What type of safety instruction is provided?
We pride ourselves on safety. To help prevent injuries, each guest is required to watch the Pump It Up safety video before entering the inflatable arena(s).

Birthday Party

What time should my guests and I arrive at the party?
We ask that you and your guests arrive 5 minutes prior to your scheduled party to allow time for check in and Pump It Up safety video viewing.
Will there be a Pump It Up staff member available to assist me in the party room?
Yes - a staff member will be available to assist you in the party room.
Is my party private or will my guests share the inflatables and party rooms with guests from other parties?
For the safety and security of your guests, your party is completely private 100% of the time. There will not be any other people from any other parties in the arenas or party rooms while you are there. This allows our staff to focus solely on your group and to make the occasion special for your child.
Is a deposit required?
A $100 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your party. The balance is due and payable on the day of your party.
What kind of drinks can I bring?
We do not allow outside food and drinks including bottled water. We have drinking fountains and also offer water, lemonade, fruit punch and soda for purchase.
How many guests can I invite?
Please refer to the Birthday Party section of the website for the designated guest count. All of our parties include 25 children. The birthday child(ren) is included in the count. Any child after 25, is an additional charge of $10 per child. We cannot accommodate over 35 children. All children under the age of 18 years count as part of the head count minus infants.
How much time will we have in each area of the facility?
For a 2 hour party, you and your guests will have 35 minutes in each arena and 50 minutes in the party room.
Will the party room be available for us during our arena play time?
Typically not, because there will usually be another party in the party room. However, feel free to check at the front desk to see if it is available. There is no guarantee that you will have access to your room until 15 minutes prior to moving in there. Please keep this in mind while choosing decorations, if they are excessive, there might not be enough time to put them all up.
What food items can be brought into the facility?
Other than the cake or cupcakes we do not allow outside food and drinks. We do not make exceptions. We cater through NYPD and will call the Monday before your party to help you set up food orders.
What assistance do you provide in the party room?
Lots! First, we thoroughly prepare the room so that it’s all clean, tidy, and organized for your group. Then, we setup the party room with any items you might have brought such as your cake and decorations. Coordinators also serve pizza, fill cups and cut the cake for all of the kids. Lastly, we break down and clean once you leave.
What if I am late for my scheduled party time? What if my Guests are late?
We understand that circumstances happen, however, our parties start promptly at the scheduled time. Since there may be other parties scheduled after your party time, we may be unable to extend your party time. If your party begins after your scheduled time due to waiting for late guests, you will have less time in the arenas and, possibly, the party room. If your guests arrive late and you have already started your party, we will escort your guest to your party.
What if I need to reschedule my party?
If you cancel or move your parties further than two weeks out there will be no penalty. After two weeks before the event, its 50% of the party price to cancel or move. Within the same week, 100% of the party price is due. Remember that your deposit is non-refundable (sorry-no exceptions).
At which age is a child considered a jumper for my party?
We do not count crawlers, approximately 1 1/2 years old to 17 years old. All children entering the arenas must be signed in regardless of their age
Can I use my own decorations and/or paper products in the party room?
You’re welcome to use your own decorations and/or paper products in the party room. However, please keep in mind that you will only have 13-20 minutes to set up your decorations. We need to clean and sanitize the room before your party. To preserve the integrity of our party rooms, we do not permit wall or ceiling decorations, streamers, silly string, confetti, or piñatas. Balloons must be pre-inflated and only 2-3 mylar balloons if you are bringing some in.
Can I spend more than the designated play time in the inflatable arena?
We’re sorry, but we cannot extend your play time in the inflatable arena(s).
When should I order food for our party? Goodie bags? Balloons? And other party options?
We’ll call you the Monday or Tuesday prior to your party to confirm your guest count. At that time, you’ll have an opportunity to order pizza, beverages, goodie bags, balloons, and other party options if you haven’t already.
Are there any additional items I need to bring to the party?
Please bring a cake or cupcakes, candles, a knife/server and a lighter. Also, its always a good idea to bring a couple extra pairs of socks in case some of your party goers forget.
Can I hire a character, clown, face painter or balloon artist to come to my party?
You may hire a character, clown or balloons artist to attend your party as long as they don't do anything messy with paint, silly string, confetti, etc. We do not permit face painters. Also, the performer must not cause parties to run late. We are strict on the amount of time in each room because we run on a rotation system.
Do you offer any other food besides pizza?
We offer sandwiches, vegetable trays, salads, and chicken wings. All items are catered through NYPD.
Once in the party room, can guests re-enter the play arena(s)?
We’re sorry, but guests may not re-enter the inflatable arena(s). We also do not have the means to extend your jump time since we run on the rotation system.
Can I bring my own goodie bags and/or balloons?
If you are not purchasing our popular Pump It Up goodie bags you are welcome to bring your own. You may also bring in 2-3 Mylar balloons only. They must be pre-inflated before your arrival.
Can I have a craft activity during the party?
Because of the potential damage to our facility, we do not allow any craft projects.

Open Jump

Is there an additional charge for parents, siblings, and/or care-givers?
There is no additional charge for parents or care-givers. However, siblings are counted as part of the guest count.
What age groups do you allow for Open Jump times?
Monday Wednesday and Thursday are for 6 years and under. No exceptions. In summer, we often have afternoon all age open jumps. Feel free to check our calendar.
Is the admission cost refundable?
Admission Fee is applied to all children attending Open Jump, and is for admission into the facility. Admission Fee is non-refundable once the session has begun.
