COVID-19 Procedures

What are your cleaning procedures?
Diligence in keeping areas sanitary is, as always, of the utmost importance. Team members receive training on the proper cleaning methods and protocols for every area of our facility. Detailed checklists are utilized for all cleaning and our management team enforces that standards are met at all times. Hand sanitizer is available to guests throughout the facility. Floors and surfaces are thoroughly cleaned and disinfected daily. In our party rooms, all tables, and our birthday throne are thoroughly cleaned and disinfected after each event. We have increased allotted cleaning time for sanitization and added additional time and team members dedicated to disinfecting between events using an EPA approved disinfectant for use against SARS-CoV-2.
Do I need to wear a mask?
According to the Illinois Department of Public Health, everyone over the age of 2 who can medically tolerate a face covering over their nose and mouth must wear one in a public place when unable to maintain a safe distance (6 feet) from others.
How do 100% private parties make it safer to celebrate?
As always, our 100% private parties provide you the opportunity to be in control of who attends your event and allows us to clean and sanitize the party space between each event. In addition, we have implemented the use of a sanitizing fogging device between events on inflatables and surfaces. This method offers far better coverage, shorter drying times, and an overall better kill rate for viruses and bacteria within the facility to keep our guests and employees safe.


Are socks required?
Yes, socks are required to play on the inflatables.
Are your inflatables safe and clean?
Absolutely! Our inflatables have been custom designed to account for heavy, indoor use. Each inflatable goes through rigorous testing for all ages before it is released to any of our facilities nationwide. At our facility, each inflatable is anchored to the floor, wall, and/or ceiling to provide extra stability. Entrances and tunnels are wiped down after each party and every inflatable is cleaned and inspected on an ongoing maintenance schedule.
Is each guest, including adults, required to have a completed/signed waiver?
For insurance purposes, every guest who enters our arenas must have a completed waiver. All guests under 17 years of age must have a waiver completed and signed by a parent/guardian. For your convenience, family members aged 17 years or younger may be included on the same waiver. Additional waivers are available at Pump It Up or online.
Are there any age/height restrictions?
Yes. For safety purposes, each ride has a minimum height requirement noted on its safety sign. We ask that guests abide by these recommendations.
Will Pump It Up provide supervision in the play areas?
Our fun and friendly staff will provide supervision in the inflatable play areas so you can relax and enjoy the party!
Are gratuities (tips) appropriate?
Yes. On your final confirmation email, you will notice a 10% optional gratuity will be added. Please consider this a recommendation as all gratuities are optional, but welcomed.
What forms of payment are accepted?
For your convenience we accept cash, Visa, & MasterCard as payment options. Sorry, we do NOT accept Discover, American Express or personal checks.

Birthday Party

What time should my guests and I arrive at the party?
We ask that you and your guests arrive 10-15 minutes prior to the party start time. This will allow time for you and your guests to check in at the front desk.
Will there be a Pump It Up staff member available to assist me in the party room?
Yes - dedicated Party Coordinators will set up your private party room. They will assist in handing out food, cutting and distributing cake, and entertaining the children. The Coordinators will also wrap up any left overs and handle all the clean up for your party.
How do I schedule a Pump It Up party?
It's easy! Just give us a call, reserve online, or stop in and we'd be happy to reserve your special day and time!
How many guests can I invite?
Unless you have arranged a custom event package with us, your party can accommodate up to 35 children and no more than 60 total people; kids and adults combined. Additionally you will be charged $10 for any additional child that exceeds your party package.
Is a deposit required?
A $150 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your party. The balance is due and payable on the day of your party. We will review your final bill at the end of your party. Your deposit will be removed from the final bill.
What food items can be brought into the facility?
You may bring cake, cupcakes, cookies, ice cream, brownies, or donuts to your party. We’re sorry, but no other outside food is permitted. You may bring any non-alcoholic beverages.
Do I need to stay at the party?
The party host is required to stay at the party. Other adults are also welcome to stay and enjoy the fun, but are not required to stay.
What if I need to reschedule my party?
We require at least 15 days advance notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your party. Within 14 days of your event, you may re-schedule to any available Mon-Thursday party time and you must increase your deposit to 50% of your party package price. Within 48 hours of the event, you may re-schedule to any available Mon-Thursday party time and you must increase your deposit to 100% of your party package price.
Can I bring my own goodie bags and/or balloons?
If you are not purchasing our popular Pump It Up goodie bags you are welcome to bring your own. Please make sure that all aspects of your goodie bag come pre-assembled prior to your arrival. You may also bring in your own balloons. Please make sure your balloons are pre-inflated prior to arrival. Additionally, we DO NOT allow balloons that are filled with confetti, glitter, streamers, etc.
Can I use my own decorations and/or paper products in the party room?
All of our birthday party packages include complimentary table clothes, plates, cups, napkins and utensils. If you would prefer, you’re welcome to bring your own pre-assembled decorations and/or paper products to be used in the party room. Unfortunately, we cannot move the tables in the party room. To preserve the integrity of our party rooms, we do not permit streamers, silly string, confetti, or piñatas. We also cannot tape or adhere anything to the wall or ceiling.
Do you provide party room set up and clean up?
Absolutely! We will set up the party room just the way you want it and clean up afterwards.
Can we start in the party room?
No, we’ve found that full tummies and bouncing don’t mix, our parties begin in the inflatable arena(s).
Do you have a refrigerator for my cakes or drinks?
Yes. Space is limited, so please do not arrange to drop off items more than 15 minutes prior to the start of your event.
Once in the party room, can guests re-enter the play arena(s)?
We’re sorry, but guests may not re-enter the inflatable arena(s).
Do you offer any other food besides pizza?
Yes. Please see our catering menus for all of the available options.
Can I have alcohol for the adults?
No alcohol is allowed in our facility.
When should I order food for our party? Goodie bags? Balloons? And other party options?
We’ll call you 3-5 days prior to your party to confirm your guest count. At that time, you’ll have an opportunity to order pizza, beverages, goodie bags, balloons, and other party options; if you haven’t already. Our team of expert party planners can help you select the appropriate amount of food.
Are there any additional items I need to bring to the party?
No. We have everything you need to host your party including: plates, napkins, cups, table cloths, plastic ware, candles (assorted stick), lighters, and serving knives.
What if less/more kids show up on the day of the party after I have placed my pizza, balloons or goodie bag order?
Unfortunately, pizza orders are placed the night before and cannot be changed on the day of your party. Goodie bags and balloons are both on hand and can be adjusted as needed on the day of the event.

Is there an additional charge for parents, siblings, and/or care-givers?
There is no additional charge for parents or care-givers. All children ages 2-17 will be charged admission. Children 23 months and younger may enter for free with a paying sibling.
