Pre-Opening Development
Finding a proper site is the first and most important decision in owning and operating a Pump It Up facility. Our experienced staff will strive to help you and your broker find the right location for your business in the shortest time possible. We will work with you to assess many factors when considering your location including demographics, tenant mix, parking, zoning, physical attributes, competition and residential mix.
We provide a unique site design for the building being considered for development. Our professional site development team will assist you in the management of all aspects of construction providing a comprehensive layout that illustrates wall colors, placement of equipment, furniture, carpeting, and graphics. Prior to the opening of the facility, a site review team conducts a final facility inspection to assure that the facility is in compliance with all franchise standards and specifications and is ready for your guest’s enjoyment.
Comprehensive Training and Education
Our training program was designed to prepare a new franchisee to own and operate a Pump It Up Party Facility so prior experience operating a retail business or working with children is not a requirement. Generally, our most successful franchisees are active in their communities and create a reputation that begins and ends with making people happy each and every day. The ability to follow the Pump It Up “system”, while creating a Party Facility that is the place to go for children’s parties and special occasions in your local community, is a must for Pump It Up franchisees.
Before you open your Pump It Up Party Facility we will provide you with hours of initial training. Our initial training program is a combination of classroom, and hands-on instruction in Pleasanton, California and also at your location before and after you open. You will be supported by our Opening Team when your business is ready to open. We will also be providing you with a copy of our state-of-the-art Operations Manual and supplements both in hard copy and available on our Intranet.
Our Opening Team will be with you prior to, and during, the opening of your new Pump It Up facility. In a matter of days, you will be ready to open with your first parties on your own, with your Pump It Up support team just a phone call away. Our goal is to make you and your local team great Pump It Up Operators.
Marketing
We have some of the best and most experienced marketing professionals on staff, and as our outside advisors, to assist you in introducing your business to your community when you are ready to open. Before you are ready to open, we will sit with you and create a Market Introduction program that is right for your market. In addition to our creative and professional advertising pieces, in-store marketing programs, direct mail, Birthday Club and other promotions, you will be working with our national public relations team in developing a grand opening program right for your facility. We are going to work with you to jump start your business.
Every new Pump It Up Party Facility starts with a coordinated Grand Opening celebration engineered to increase awareness and educate guests in your area. Our program includes customized branded banners, invitations, flyers, giveaways and our assistance to make your opening truly grand!
In addition to the support of our national public relations firm you will have the benefit of our creative material, our Birthday Club, our web site and our staff of professionals to help guide you.

Proprietary IT and Reservations System
Managing the many day to day affairs of any business is a challenge. You need to book your parties, schedule your labor, customize your party offers to fit your market and many additional other tasks. Our proprietary Franchise Management System is designed to help you manage and grow your business. We give you management reporting tools to monitor and measure how you are doing and a reservation system that allows you to be flexible and maximize your space utilization.
